No-sign. They managed to get B.O.B. a hit, which I never saw coming (even if Bruno Mars got gaffled), and made Trey Songz the most popular R&B artist in the country. IMO, they’re one of the few majors that are still efficient.

I imagine with Ye, he’s gonna have to cough up better than that. Can’t Tell Me Nothing wasn’t a Jeezy type beat. And dude produced a song on American Gangster, “Say Hello”- not a Jeezy type beat.
Not to mention on this record, with the long ass list of producers, Ye’s probably gonna be co-producing the songs with each of them, as well as his in-house guys and frequent collaborators [Jeff Bhaskr, No ID, Jon Brion] to really cook something big up. Kind of like Dre on 2001, assemple a big team of guy to work on beats.
And throwback albums are never as good as they are hoped to be anyway. This is a sign that Ye’s not doing one.
