BP3 wasnt supposed to be a classic
it was designed to get him back to commercial success
his last 2 albums were commercial duds (the first being a critical dud too). Neither of them spawned a single hit, extremely odd for a jay-z album (considering his history)
BP3 was an overwhelming success. He got his first worldwide number one, with a song with rap verses, a sample and MPC drums in the year 2010. A considerable feat. Run this town was also a huge sucess, also had a sample and MPC drums (completely going against whats in the charts today).
Forever young was a huge success too. These 3 singles were bigger on the POP charts than anything he’s ever released
Jay has now become a worldwide household name, is back as the number 1 rapper…
..and can NOW concentrate on making a classic album

^^^^I play on veteran….My hitting improved a lot….Do have the guest pitch option on? I always guest fastball…That way if they throw an off speed pitch i can use the power swing( with power hitters)…I average about 3 to 4 runs each game…stealing is a bitch on there..

i always use guess pitch… but i dont stay stuck on fastball though, i try to guess along with the pitcher… it seems like guessing location right, is more important than guessing the right pitch… when i pitch, i dont use the corny pitching meter either… i just watch the pitcher and tap X to start the delivery, tap it again when the leg kick is at the highest point and then tap it again at the pitcher’s release point … it took me mad games to overstand that shit… but i do let the catcher call the game with the adaptive pitching intelligence joint … i might shake off a pitch or location once in a while …

^^^lol yo i tried that…My era was like 13.something….Ill stick with the stock option…Hitting is mos def a challenge, that’s why i like the game so much…On that 2k i use to score 8 -9 runs a game…..The only reason i said i guessed fast ball is bc it’s too easy to get burned by it..so i figure if i guess fastball all the time and they don’t throw it, i’m like good i don’t have to worry about a 95mph fastball coming. i usually don’t move the left stick on fastballs, since they don’t have a lot movement. On changeups,curves,sliders(i hardly ever swing at those)..I usually try to guess where the pitch is going to drop….When i first got the game i was swinging at everything…smh
