The Detox single featuring Jay-Z is supposed to drop on Friday, that’s of course if Dre doesn’t decide to pull a Dr. Dre. It is indeed an upbeat club record and Ester Dean wrote the hook. No word on if it was produced by Scott Storch yet, though he did recently reveal that he had been reunited with the good doctor.

I am looking forward, I’m hoping for the best but expecting the worst. I’m just afraid I am going to be disappointed, but I sure do hope he has some hard core west coast sound to it, if not, I KNOW I am going to be disappointed. Just hope it’s a bit like Chronic 2001, because when I hear all these statements about dance-music, making music that fits in now, I come to think of people like Lady Gaga, she sucks bad, and maybe he’ll make something like that just to sell some albums.
