Not trying to underwrite lyrics, but anyone with the ability to get a B in 12th grade high school English can write great punchlines and rhymes, so long as enough time is given. Time is the limit, not intelligence.
I’ll take Lil Wayne, a guy who can RAP, over some punchline rapper who can only write good [as in, not good by any other form of writing's standards, but good in rap] lines but has no presence.
And this isn’t referring to conceptual lyrics, like what Ye used to do. That’s hard.
