LF: yo I was thinking yesterday about how crazy it is that Barack didn’t use Com’s album BE as a soundtrack of sorts to his campaign and beyond.
It has everything he says he stands for on it, especially with songs like “Its Your World” and “Real People where it’s about people’s hopes and struggles”. Not only that but it’s has 2 of Chi’s biggest artists & basically is an ode to that city.
Yet this nigga is sitting in interviews talking about he has self-absorbed shit like Jay Z on his iPod. That’s not a diss to Jay and I couldn’t at all blame him for that, but that shit is wild. Dude has a hold on people’s minds, man.
