I think that rap has replaced the NBA pipe dream, so more cats are rocking style over function sneaks these days. I still rock my J’s, and a lot of cats over 25 stay with throwbacks and retros. But you won’t see as many cats walking around with cross trainers or basketball sneaks as you used to. And most of the new stuff, in terms of trainers and sneakers, has been less than impressive.
