When Kanye drops the next album, which is likely to be another classic..
4 consecutive classics [ "808" excluded] will make kanye Top.5 D.O.A
—————————————————
I think 808s is a bonafide classic, moreso than Graduation. It keeps getting better as time goes by just like College Dropout and Late Registration; Graduation get’s less impressive with time.
Hopefully he does a great job on this. I’m worried he might try rapping a lot like he did on “I’m So Appalled” and that the beats will disappoint like the ones on BP3 [although those have grown on me a bit].
If all goes well, he’ll rap like he did on that freestyle at the Kid Cudi show… that was dope.
All roads lead directly to this.Couple this with the Willie Lynch mind fuck and we’re in bad shape brother.
^
yeah. i’ve said for years that today’s Black youth posess a mentality that rivals slave mentality – born lost and hopeless from every conceivable social aspect, AND THEN you add the whole drugs/system/laws/liquorstore/fastfood diet/black chuch opposing knowledge/etc. . . shit (waaaay too much to “stuff” to list), and yeah. . . .

we are so close. I don’t think people understand how close we are to being robots in a matrix. Sad really.
^
i built this theory that Jesus will actually return in the form of technology. not as a physical entity or robot, but technology actually is the true form of Jesus/God. the further technology advances, the closer we come to Armeggedon(sp?). this couldn’t possibly be explained in the Bible b/c humanity was still in the stone ages. so they made up a bunch of stories about magic and demons and shit. i don’t know. either way it would make a great movie.
Arab man Mr Chibs asked me some questions too. I mostly informed him of D-Block’s propensity to be found in The Village sporting red slingback pumps and fishnet stockings *vomits* (yh), rocking a matching moustache and monobrow combination and doing cat whistles at himself. Call me a snitch but I think it’s best this bellend gets some help.
Late Registration = College Dropout > 808′s > Graduation
LF: what’s this talk about Guru I saw in the last couple posts. I cant/wont believe that shit. Next yall gonna be telling me Ma$e fucks tranny hookers…
I just don’t consider 808 has a album to be considered when chatting about being a G.O.A.T Rapper that is all, of course as an album it can stand alone but not in the Hip-Hop sense.

100% co-sign… i hated 808′s when it first dropped, and only til recently have i caught myself jammin to it (no i’m not heartbroken, quite the opposite actually) i feel about this album, the same as i did with Electric Circus, it was ahead of it’s time (for me)
Eng, i told duke that you could be found rocking Biggie spandex with a denim vest, lumberjack interior and fringed edges, sipping dicks and eating bacon butties as a mid-morning snack.
yo shallah raekwon was good last night. despite security hassling me over lighting up a spliff. Even wifey threw up the W at one point.
^^Rae was decent. I was smoked out and lashed though so half way through his set I was close to levitating but it was worth the wonga. I was sparking zoots regularly and security didn’t say shit. It must have been your girl in her all matching Wu Wear tracksuit and skull cap a la Rex Hussla that attracted attention. *daps*
@verses did Rae do any new songs from the Massacre album? I went to a Red and Meth show recently and Meth did some crazy new shit, but I couldn’t hear if he said it was on his album, or the collab with Ghost and Rae.

Oh, yeah I think we agree on that [I must've misunderstood your first post].
I think it’s a classic hip hop album, in that it has all the sonic traits of hip hop [subsuming and reworking another entire genre of music], but it’d definitely not a rap album at all, and yeah it can’t really enter the discussion when talking about if Kanye’s a GOAT candidate. Kind of different terminology but the same overall idea as you.

Raekwon addressed the crowd regarding Wu Massacre release.
“Its comin (||)…March 30. We did this one for the fans. Imma gonna keep it 1000 with yall. Its not our best material. But we did this one for the fans.”
Lol at eng…i think that security got shitty when he pointed me out (||) and all i did was ask him if wanted a hit of it…its a fuckin rae show for christ sakes
Funny thing, if the “man” got on tv and had a state of the union and said, “I want everyone in the country to be tracked for security purposes of course”. Uproar, instantaneously. But applied by way of the frog in boiling water route…not so much.

Ye has no “classics”, Late Registration is close but still falls short of classic status
—
I would say his first two albums are classic. Late Registration has some joints I cant mess with, but the majority of that album is incredible. I dont like Graduation or 808′s at all though.
I think the guy who introduced him really took the word’s “from bricks to billboards” literally. He didn’t even know what he was saying… It’s funny how the politicians are forced to listen to Jay’s old coke dealing rhymes (see Empire State of Mind as well), and yet they gotta respect him because of his paper… He really is the the Amercian Gangster… what’s funny is that he seems uncomfortable in all of this. Jay-Z… don’t worry about image… you got too much paper…you don’t have to try to be funny….
