Nas & Damian Marley – Distant Relatives (Track List)
Someone left a comment recently saying that the Distant Relatives cover we’d been using was a fake, and if you check Amazon they’re not even using one. What it does say, though, is that it’s slated to drop on May 25th now, rather than 4/20.
1. As We Enter
2. Tribal War (feat. K’NAAN)
3. Strong Will Continue
4. Leaders
5. Wisdom (Sabali)
6. Count Your Blessings
7. Disappear
8. The Promised Land (feat. Dennis Brown)
9. Nah Mean
10. Angola (Friends)
11. My Generation (feat. Lil Wayne & Joss Stone)
12. Africa Must Wake Up (Feat. K’NAAN)
13. Ancient People (feat. Junior Reid) [BONUS TRACK]
14. In His Own World [BONUS TRACK]
All songs produced by Damian Marley.

Out of all the features they could have had like Capleton or Sizzla, Talib Kweli or Jay Elec. No they go get lil wayne and Joss Stone
March 11th, 2010 at 1:52 pm
I wonder how much further Nas would be if he was more consistent…
March 11th, 2010 at 1:53 pm
Universal wont let Nas work with Salaam again….they have great chemistry…..I cant think of a producer who would suit this album better than Salaam.
*hopes its a fake tracklist*

As much as i may hate to say it, Drake may have fit the tone of the album if they wanted a popular artist feature

Who actually wants this album for the features? I’m not a Wayne fan either, but its 1 song… Both Nas & Jr Gong make “ALBUMS”, not just songs… this will be interesting, but the next Nas solo is what I’m looking forward to

I DONT WANT LIL WAYNE ANY WHERE NEAR THIS ALBUM.
March 11th, 2010 at 2:12 pm
Oh people stop hating on wayne…so wayne keeps you from buying a good album…SMDH

Really…??? I think the whole criticism of Nas beat selection starts with Salaam Remi truthfully… Nobody really ever spoke of his beat selection until God’s Son, and it got worse on SD, and it was those 2 albums where Salaam did the bulk of the production… Salaam is good for a banger every now and than(What Goes Around, Made You Look, Zone Out)… but overall I’d much rather hear Nas rock with LES more than Salaam anyday! And Damian is a beast on the boards

they got wayne but they couldnt get M.I.A.
