    Wayne killed this song. Now if only he can consistently bring this kind of energy.

    Then again, Wayne almost always sounds good over cheap southern synth beats. It’s like he knows he can’t just rely on the beat to make a good song, so he has to put his unique style to the forefront.

    LF, but has anybody read the book Alphabetical Africa?

    My understanding is that chapter 1 contains only words that start with the letter A, chapter 2 has words that start with letters A and B, chapter 3 is ABC and so on until at chapter 26 he has the whole alphabet at his disposal. Then, at chapter 27 he loses Z, at 28 he loses Y words, and so on until at the end of the book he’s back down to As.

    Lyrical exercise, straight expansion and contraction. I actually produced a beat inspired by the expansion contraction concept. It’s used on a song we did for Hungry Mungry, which will be the next track I leak to Nah once it’s mixed down decently.

    According to The Associated Press, 25-year-old Rico Todriquez Wright shot Chad Blue in the thigh and the groin in September 2006 and recorded a song about the incident.

    Wright reportedly rapped on a song saying “Ask Chad Blue, he knows how I shoot.”

    Blue, 28, testified that he had known Wright before the shooting but they weren’t friendly. He also revealed that Wright was egged on by his friends during the shooting.

    Wright was sentenced to 20 years for two counts of aggravated assault. He will spend another 20 years on probation
