First episode was bad, like real bad. Not funny enough to be a comedy, not enough going on to be a drama. Just meh. I heard the latter episodes were an improvement, but at this point, I still feel like I’m winning for not watching.
Luda could throw down if he had to.. however he just knows how to make extremely successful singles and has made a shitload of them
========================================
The gift and the curse.
Plus, Luda doesn’t have an interesting backstory.
He didn’t survive any stabbings or shootouts, he doesn’t shout out his homies who are bidding it ad nauseum. He’s a product of a middle class upbringing and for that reason, he gets little respect from “The Streets”.
At one point I thought he was the Southern Redman.
To me, Luda’s interesting story is that he used to be a radio dj (Cris lova lova, I think) in ATL, and parlayed that into selling 50,000 independent records on how own at $7 a piece. That’s why his firs major label release was called Back For the First Time. As a businessman myself, I respect that and find it very interesting.
I somehow catch the new show by accident each time and give it a chance, it’s starting to grow on me kinda interesting. You can tell it’s from the producers of Entourage
Rachel needs to go somewhere. That character ruins the show. Her story is a big f*cking drag. It has started to pick up slightly, up until she shows up again. They really need to drop her for next season to work. Plus she looks like a dude. Gross.

I’ve yet to watch one episode.
Was Cudi supposed to draw in the black/Hip-Hop demo?
Am I missing out?
