It shouldn’t take long. It’s not that complex. Then of course the more u do it the easier it gets.
I dont use an MPC anymore. I used to, but it was my brother’s. I’ve been using PC software since forever.

i tried that once (sampling/chopping loops on 4.0)… but when i try to adjust the tempo for an added track, or element, it always changes the original tempo for the first tracks… i gave up after constantly fighting with that shit…

Each new track has its own track properties. The adjustment u make in there shouldnt affect the entire project. Double click the colored box where the track number is.

It varies, but it’s usually anywhere between 15 minutes and an hour initially. Whenever it gets closer to an hour I might leave it alone and come back to it the next day…or the next month. Or never. That happens a lot.

Logic, Reason, Protools are the industry standards as far as software production…Fruity Loops program is decent but the stock sounds that come with it are a joke…they don’t even sound like real drum/percussion , piano/synth etc

Some of the synths are decent. I fucks with the sytrus joint that comes with it. Apart from that, most the other synths, drumkits and sounds i use in FL are imported.
Id rather fuck with a sample in FL than anywhere else tho. Real talk.
And another cool thing is that it supports Rewire now so i can run it with Reason.
