Lil Wayne may be a self-professed gangsta with the gunshot wound to prove it, but he’s made plenty clear how he feels about doing time behind bars.

jimmy valentime is the worst rapper ever – of course i’m not gonna download his shit

when he raps on the beat in a coherent fashion spitting bars that make half an ounce of sense, maybe i’ll peep game

  5. Bricktop Says:

    @Nation
As the growing elders of this hiphop shit, it is our responsibility to teach the youth about all the great ignorant/ negative/hyperviolent that existed prior to this era of homolove rap. Maybe – if only for comedic effect – you could find a way to incorporate this concept into your current or future website, Nation. Kind of like a digital Mad Rapper.

  11. 911 Says:

I feel you. Bear just started a tumblr so he won’t even mind if I go back to wmdeez, but I think if I really stop trying to be mature and act like a kid again, I can just reincarnate wmdeez in The Calm. the problem is, after a few years of working on Nah, I don’t look at rappers the same way as I used to. like, I don’t give a fuck about them and don’t think I could ever praise them like that again.

then again, after working here… all the shitty music I hear makes me appreciate old stuff that much more

    ya dig

^>what is this maturity you speak of, what act? Do what the fock you feel like, do you ever turn on the news? Everybody else is! Don’t limit it though, all forms of media that kind of falls inline with whereever you’re trying to go. Also, less of Sean P, is more. Don’t tell him I said that though.

Movies and music in one spot from a credible source >

shit was going fine until I started thinking fuck rappers

I just gotta be reminded it’s about the music, and not the artists

    everybody chill

I understand what you mean. This whole blogging shit is getting tough. Seriously feels like the rap game. I just hate when people tell me to start a blog and then I realize others already did what I wanted to do and it’s just hard to think of something different that can bring views yet let me do what I feels is good when it comes to posting. I’ve witnessed people start blogs and all their sources are the NMC, Hypebeast, and some indie site and they act like they being innovative. Shit’s ridiculous.

At the time WMDEEZ was a good idea, you left that for Nah which got you where you are today, you started It’s the Calm as a side project (no?) and it’s now 2010 and shit def. changed. It’s like you did Be, got more followers on Finding Forever, and now you on Universal Mind Control which might of not been a well thought out idea but maybe you just gotta go back to the desk and start thinking up The Believer and know going back to the old shit is necessary if you wanna stay relevant.

    wow

  23. nation Says:

but, to be fair, it’s not like I’m being Jay Electronica with this shit… I actually have NR that fills up most of the free time I used to have, but I really wanna get this site off the ground because I still have the same taste in music, it’s just better now

I just need to stop posting music on Twitter/Facebook and hit the site with it, I think you’ll all fuck with it. another thing I’ve resolved to do is to stop talking about it, because it just sounds stupid if I haven’t done it yet

thanks for all the imput, I’m gonna keep in mind how strongly you felt about wmdeez. I appreciate that for real

^>nothing else needs to be said now. Except, Twitter makes you retarded. I thought I understood the point of it, but I hope I don’t. Why create a new way to communicate, but limit the capacity. In effect subconsciously training a whole new era of kids to be… Another topic for another day.
