I think the beat is dope right on par with the lyrics….my only add-on is that alotta rappers who dont really fuck with rock are sampling cus its trendy and shit…as a rapper who really grew up on rock since vinyl it makes me raise a few eyebrows…

rock? what are you talking about rock? la roux is not rock at all….la roux is dance music…and it sounds like they pulled the sample from the remix skream did of la roux’s in for the kill…sooo it would be dubstep, which has alot of roots in garage in england which in turn is very very hiphop.
