When asked if he thinks this year’s list is tarnished because they had to find two other people that wouldn’t have been on it because him and Nicki declined, he says that they were “Freshmen” last year too and that he’s simply “returning the favor.”
He also says he has a great relationship with Jordan Brand, and fucks with RRL and Red Wing. So does Birdman apparently.

I think XXL freshmen are just so dumb, the people that matter are never on there, no one from last year’s freshmen did shit, and the artist that needed to be on it n didn’t make it are doing numbers, i feel drake 4 don’t doing it this yr, that freshmen list is all politics and no HIPHOP.
