Audio: Director Nabil Elderkin Says Kanye Didn’t Want To Be In “Coldest Winter” or “Paranoid”
Elderkin told MTV that he didn’t even have to give Kanye a treatment. He presented him the basic concept and the next thing Kanye saw was a completed version.
“You know what, the funny thing is, he didn’t want to be in it. I wasn’t even gonna put him in it. He didn’t want to be in ‘Paranoid,’ to be honest. There was more Kanye in ‘Paranoid’ originally, and I took him out. He’s just cool right now with putting out visuals that fit the song without having to be in it. I think he’s in that place in his life where right now he just wants to make art.”

It’s been revealed through Twitter updates that Little Brother’s Rapper Big Pooh and Justus League affiates Joe Scudda, Chaundon, Jozeemo and manager Big Dho were injured this morning in a Vermont car accident.
In the late morning, the quartet of touring rappers and the Justus League manager were “t-boned by a tractor trailer” says Scudda’s Twitter (@JoeScudda) after doing a 360 in the snow-covered roads. The accident happened on a highway, though it’s unclear which.
The accident sent the party to the hospital. Joe Scudda, Chaundon, and Pooh have all confirmed their recovery online. Pooh (@RapperBigPooh) says he remains in the hospital at Randolph, Vermont.
Looking back on the incident Scudda tweeted, “I just saw my whole life flash before my eyes.”

he’s actually a really cool dude. i asked him about the hallofjustus website and he said money and notoriety split the whole organization up. these dudes were traveling in a small van that had first class seating in it and it was raining cats and dogs in boston. it sucks too cause instead of leaving right after their set they chopped it up w/the people until the spot closed. pooh ripped it apart too. they showed love to rawspillage at the end of their set which was dope. i hope them cats bounce back from that accident and keep it moving. they gotta be the last vestiges of true hip-hop.
