   I wanna look something that is relatively responsible with its amperage draw.. They say that JL is crazy efficient

   yeah. it is. the most efficient. the only other amp close to it is the old school rockford 500d. but yo fry the amps tryin to make them do to much. specially if you got the 600 rms speakers. the amp can be tryin to pull too much juice which is prolly why it fied. get a bigger amp and just turn it up 1/4 or no higher than half.
