Em doesn’t even have to have good content for Relapse 2 to be a good album either. He just needs to use his serious voice and rhyme as well as he does over those Just Blaze, Khalil and Alchemist beats.
Hopefully Dr. Dre has no joints on the record, one because Dre’s beats have sucked since he did a bad job on Games debut, and two because Em is never serious over a Dre beat, except for Say What You Say and Business, both on an album where he was TOO serious.

It’s one of the purest examples of a rapper getting “renegaded” I’ve ever heard. I really dont know why Wale kept the track on the LP, how can he perform it knowing everyone would just be waiting for Cole’s verse?

Hell yes. White America, Cleaning out My Closet, Soldier, Saying Goodbye to Hollywood, Sing For The Moment, Superman, Say What You Say, Till I Collapse….all some of Em’s best in terms of content.
The comedic tracks, Business, Square Dance and Without Me are crazy in terms of flow.
The only argument I’d accept is that Infinite might be better. Nothing else.

The album didn’t have a balance of serious to silly songs. When “Business” and “Square Dance” are considered more comedic songs, you know the record’s too serious.
I will say this, a good 5 songs on The Eminem Show are must haves for a workout playlist. Especially Till I Collapse, possible the best hip hop workout song.

I have no problems with Drake and I’ve never listened to Vampire Weekend.
Eminem on infinite is slightly different from Eminem anywhere else. It’s more about the type of music and the feel for me.

^This couldn’t be more true. Wale actually has some good wordplay, but his flow is absolutely horrendous and two or three times every song he tries to rhyme words that don’t sound alike, and he sounds like a dumbass.

it ain’t his best album, but that shit has some insane tracks on it from start to finish… to me i’d say SS LP > Infinite > MM LP then Eminem Show with Encore and Relapse bein’ straight throw-aways.. but i think that speaks more to the quality of his work while he was in his 20′s than the fact that its his 4th best effort… those 4 are top notch albums, people are gonna interchange them constantly when it comes to ranking ‘em..

I’m not gonna say anything about Drake until the first few songs from TML leak (low or CDQ quality). I did the same shit before C3 leaked (even after hearing DD3) and nowadays I still listen to that and his other albums, acting like Rebirth didn’t happen.
Em early albums (excluding that basura from the mid 90′s) were his best. Years later he off the drugs and now just doesn’t deliver as great as before.

Yea, they are telling everyone they want Lebron and Wade–which, after they made a mockery of the Knicks for the last couple of years they should– but if they really focus on Bosh, Joe Johnson, and maybe one more piece (like Carlos Boozer) to go with Lee and T Mac, then they could build an immediate contender rounded out with veterans looking for a ring and rookies.
