Video: Wu-Tang Saga Documentary (Trailer)
This new Wu-Tang documentary features footage from the last time the 9 remaining members for the Wu went on tour together.
Wu-Tang Saga (directed by Jeremy Mack) is the ultimate documentary spanning over the last 2 years of the Wu-Tang Clan and over 9 Wu-Tang Clan concerts including the last 2 times, perhaps the last times, the whole Clan performed live together along with the infamous 8 Diagram \our where the Shaolin Emcees rebelled against The Abbott (RZA) and went on tour without the RZA. Also includes a tour of Staten Island, exclusive freestyles, album photoshoots, a look inside the Wu-Tang tour buses, Wu-Tang 5% philosophies, album in-store signings and more. For once you will experience what is like to be part of the Clan. Narrated exclusively by the Clan themselves (unlike the BET documentary this film isn’t filled with random a&r’s or street guys talking about the clan), this film stars Cappadonna, Raekwon, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Rza, Gza, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, U-God, Papa Wu, True Master, Prodigal Sunn, Allah Mathematics, 12 O’ Clock, Chi King, Slick Rick and more. This film is over 2 hours and the DVD version also includes over a hour of bonus features including extended interviews, bonus performances, music videos and much more….Ships out February 25th.
BONUS: Fes Taylor & Baker Don – Freestyle

A) The image we were fed of Pac was of this gangsta rapper. In reality, Pac was HEAVILY involved in political activism. His Thug Life Foundation was uniting Bloods/Crips/Latin Kings to fight against racism and capitalism. Most of his money was going toward financing this.
>> So when exactly was Pac planning to unleash this super-united gangster movement on society. The myth of pac was enlargened by his mother especially after his untimely death in a bid to cement his place in black history. The fact remains that nothing Pac did or said through his music, what we know him for the most, was as revolutionary or pro-black as say an N.W.A or Public Enemy or KRS-1.
The idea that pac was the chosen one to come and unite all these gangs that have been warring for years is some laughable Dan Brown fiction mixed with some facts in between horseshit. Thanks for the book recommendation though, won’t read.

[...] Certainly not the first Wu-Tang documentary. But the Clan is so deep—not to mention the recent success of Raekwon—that there are always going to be more stories to tell. The Wu-Tang Saga is due out February 25. [Peeped at Eskay's Spot] [...]
