Video: Drake’s Sprite Commercial (Extended)
Ok, let’s try this one last time.
Earlier today, we posted a TV rip of Drake’s Sprite ad that apparently ran during the Super Bowl. Here we have the extended minute-long version of the commercial in good quality.
More info on Sprite’s “Spark” campaign is available at Billboard. The ad will run during NBA’s All-Star Weekend and Drake will be joining Lebron James to judge Sprite’s Slam Dunk Showdown.
After the jump, check out a real behind the scenes video from the shoot, different from last week’s, including a sit down with Drake. He explains that “Forever” was originally intended for his friend Lebron’s movie, and that Sprite decided to use it for their campaign.

Since you brought up the infamous Bud commercial, what is the definition of a sellout AND would Big and Wu fit into the same category as Jay (sellout wise), or even Hammer/pepsi, considering all made beverage commercials?

Rappers don’t sellout. They become rich and famous assholes or broke and desperate fools.
February 11th, 2010 at 10:20 pm
@England
yeah I agree. But for discussion’s sake, where does one draw a distinction between the two (Jay&Big)? Realistically they performed the same actions. I just feel a little hypocritical downing Jay the way I did, and then giving Big a pass.
