This is disgusting. I bought “The Listening” when it first dropped and have always been a huge LB fan. I have everything they ever put out but this is no way to go out.
The whole joint looks like a mess. Zo! and Khrysis are incredibly talented dudes and I’m not one of the fans crying for 9th back (it’s been a minute since he was missed as an LB producer) but this looks so directionless, it’s not even funny.
Torae (who is dope) on the closer for the final album of one of the greatest duos in rap history? Where’s the sense in that? This record is supposed to provide closure for fans and for the group’s legacy, and adding two remixed joints on a 13 track album is retarded.
Too many subpar guests as well. Jozeemo, Truck North and Khrysis rhyming? All three are weak as hell and Chaundon is the epitome of mediocrity.
I wasn’t looking forward to “Get Back” and even though it was pleasantly surprising when it dropped, it didn’t have a great deal of replay value (unlike the first two records which still get spun on the regular today). That record, I understand, was them breaking the shackles of fans’ expectations. This, however, is a slap in the face.

It really bothers me how Little Brother was supposed to represent real hip-hop, and yet in still their group fell victim to a break up. I think they need to squash whatever problem they had with 9th or vice versa. Cuz I don’t hear shit from 9th anymore….Put aside egos and get out of the minstrel show!

Last album?! WTF LITTLE BROTHERS Get Back was the shit man. Get Back was almost classic 4.5/5 . Sad to see Little Brother not dropping classics like that anymore. Get Back was something you could relate too. Spitting game to a chick, going to a party, and following your dreams. Man….. Sad to see a good group break up.
