Another video by The Suite for Ma Dukes Orchestra on the fourth anniversary of J Dilla’s passing. They’re releasing a 3 DVD Box Set entitled “Timeless” on March 30th which includes the Suite for Ma Dukes event held last year, and it’s mixed by the legendary Bob Power (De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, etc.) The footage above is of Miguel Atwood-Ferguson’s arrangement of Dwele’s “Angel,” backed by the Suite for Ma Dukes Orchestra. “Today is the fourth anniversary of Dilla’s untimely passing. People are celebrating his life all month long. At Mochilla, we have spent the past year working on A Suite for Ma Dukes. Until now we have held our cards close to our chest releasing videos and entirely instrumental pieces. But today in homage to the man responsible for all this we are releasing, just to you, the first vocal performance from Suite for Ma Dukes.”

wow. i’ve never seen so many “men” scared of accepting the most basic forms of what the rest of us call adult responsibility. all morning you guys have been whining like a bunch of bitches about school loans, debt, life in general. reading this shit from a man’s perspective (mine), this shit is fucking disgraceful – unless you’re still in highschool and are still afraid of getting out there and living your own life.
