I wonder if this new generation of Wayne/Drake/Hamilton loving rap fans can even appreciate a true master of the genre like Pun. I’m just sayin you ain’t from that era, you ain’t got that decade in your blood, you was still sucking on your mother’s rancid mammories. You can try and do the knowledge but you wasn’t around when Pun, Big L, Biggie was dropping albums and guest spots, anticipating new material which you ain’t gonna find on the Net and especially bein in the UK you had to try hard as fuck to get that material or sit up for the Westwood radio show (sad as it is) with your cassette tape recording that shit. This new generation of rap fans ain’t know nothing about it, everything changes but so has the claibre of this shit. Which is why could not give two squirts of duck shit about a Drake or a Wayne or any of these other new autotune singing quasi rappers.

Lol the west coast Degrassi fans are mad. I don’t like most of Drake’s music but being at a concert full of college girls >>>

the embrace of drake into the hip-hop community is probably one of the strongest indications of the artistic and aesthetical decay that is prominent in the genre today.

This is really just an expansion of hip hop. For you to say that Hip Hop is dead like Nas’s over dramatic ass is stupid. Its just the way rock did it expands genres music has to grow if everyone still rapped like KRS one Big Pun (who wasnt even that good) would be rediculous and the genre would only be listened to by a few people. I personally dont like Drake that much other than the fact that it brings the girls but he is definitely a fairly talented rhymer regardless of the content. What is rap/ hip hop other than the fact there is word play and it rhymes. For you to say that is dead is rediculous. Also J.Cole for the record is the best new comer if you dont already know get on it and if youve heard him you already understand.
