    Ever since he apparently got a ghostwriter or something I can’t help but like him.

    He always had that good fatass voice that sounds good over dense beats, he just really didn’t know how to rap.

    this holds no weight..it aint like Ross randomly gotten better in the few months, he’s slowly gotten better lyrically over the course of albums..

    port of miami, he was the average southern rapper..

    Trilla, he was alittle under T.I.’s skill..

    nowadays, his alliteration and delivery has stepped up, on some watered down Jay-Z vol. 3 shit..dude been puttin work in..

    Ross been nice since his 2nd album. He did some lyrical exercise on that 1st Maybach Music and on that joint with T-Pain. Not really familiar with too many joints off his debut.

    Dude, there’s no way you think he was any good on Trilla, let alone a little under T.I’s level. You had to be kidding with that. Ross was always at the mercy of the quality of his beats until DTR.

    Fact is, he’s made a huge jump in skill on that third album. This isn’t 50 stanning, frankly I really don’t care at all whether he uses a ghostwriter or not. He was NEVER a shining beacon for authenticity, anyway. With Ross all I can ask for is quality music which he finally provided [independent of the beats he used] on Deeper than Rap.
