Baseline may have closed its doors just last Thursday, but Just wasted no time moving into a new studio set up all the way across town. It was announced today that Just Blaze will be moving into StadiumRed, a studio in Harlem, NY which has been home to Just’s old friend Omen, best known as the producer of “Overdose On Life” as well as doing some work on Drake’s Thank Me Later.

STADIUMRED & JUST BLAZEAnnounce Exclusive Partnership
Grammy Award-Winning Recording Studio Welcomes Super Producer
February 3, 2010 (New York, NY) – Multiple Grammy Award-Winning recording facility Stadiumred welcomes super producer Justin “Just Blaze” Smith (Jay-Z, Rihanna, Eminem, Usher) to the team of renowned talent. A recording studio in New York City with impressive growth – almost doubling in size for the second time in as many years – Stadiumred stands as the east coast leader as they kick off their expansion with the addition of Just Blaze as a powerful member of the Stadiumred family.
Founder Claude Zdanow states: “With the addition of “Just Blaze”, this is quickly becoming our dream team. Stadiumred is truly great because of the talent based here. It’s a diverse family, experienced in so many genres that come together in one place to make brilliant music. It’s so exciting to come in everyday and realize that our vision really has no limit.”
States Just Blaze: “I’m looking forward to setting up shop with the guys at Stadiumred. I’ve been in this business for 13 years and their vision and drive are the perfect compliment to what I look to build during the next phase of my career. I’m looking forward to creating something great with them. World domination coming soon!”
The facilities at Stadiumred currently house some of the best producers and engineers in the world. Combined they have 30-plus Grammy nominations and 15-plus wins, dozens of Gold & Platinum Records, as well as several Oscars, Emmys and Tonys. The team includes industry giants Tom Lazarus (Ray Charles, Bjork, Yo-Yo Ma, Chicago Symphony), Ariel Borujow of Westward Music Group (T.I., Black Eyed Pees, Puffy, Kanye West), Sidney “Omen” Brown (Ludacris, Mya, Drake, Fabolus), and Joseph Pedulla (Thursday, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Mos Def, Kid Cudi). Under the watchful eye of recording studio design legend Frank Comentale (The Hit Factory, Chung King Stuudios, & Daddy’s House), construction of a new SSL mix studio and surround sound mastering studio began in early 2010. Both rooms are set to rival those of any other facility and will make Stadiumred a one-stop-shop for all things music.
About Stadiumred: Established in 2007 by Claude Zdanow, Stadiumred is a full-service production, mixing and recording facility in Manhattan. A musician and songwriter since he was a teenager growing up in Long Island, Claude owned his first recording studio, RockIT, when he was 15 years-old. At 19, Claude took over the space once occupied by Harmolodic, the studio of Jazz legend Ornette Coleman. In a few short years, the Harlem facility has expanded into four mixing and production rooms, a 1000 square foot LIVE room with multiple recording rooms, and a mastering suite. Stadiumred was honored with three Grammy Awards in 2009, and a 2010 win for Best Instrumental Soloist Performance (without orchestra) for Journey To The New World. The Stadiumred team includes award-winning recording and mix engineer Tom Lazarus, Ariel Borujow, Joseph Pedulla and producer Sid “Omen” Brown. Just Blaze coming to Stadiumred rounds out an amazing group of talent and will bring additional staff, equipment, and newly constructed rooms to the facility. Artists who have trusted their music with Stadiumred include Drake, Melinda Doolittle, Mos Def, Yo Yo Ma, Thursday, and the San Francisco Symphony, among scores of others. Stadiumred is also home to film and television work, including the recent audio recording for the 20th Anniversary episode of “The Simpsons” and the mixing of Oliver Stone’s film, “W.” On the talent side, Stadiumred has also been developing and managing recording artists and DJs. This shit right here as how you know canadiens stick together. What the fuck does mentioning Wheelchair Jimmy have to do with were Just is recording? Its not like niggas knew about the studio prior to just moving there, and its not like niggas is going to care. I don’t even think Just cares, as long as they got a good internet hook up so he can play x-box live instead of make beats or release music.
