Does anyone actually like this? Edutainment is almost always preachy, poorly constructed and boring. That’s my impression of this and I fucks with Ortiz and Haiti.

If no rappers would’ve made no songs about it Haiti, niggas would say they are a bunch of heartless sellouts. Rappers make songs about Haiti, now it’s shameless promotion.

*memo to everyone on earth*
please leave the Exhibit C beat alone … its been through enough trials and tribulations already … lets bury it in a time capsule, and take it out 20 years later and let future MCs rhyme on it… but for now, enough is enough … and Joell Ortiz has had two unsuccessful shots at it… let it go …
for the good of humankind … please …

As an Historian and a Hip Hop enthusiast I must admit that I am surprised and inspired to know that real hip hop is on the rise. These lyrics are both enlightening historically accurate and it is unfortunate that it receives such little air time on the radio.

Heard this for the 1st time today. Joell did a good job, too bad there isn’t a rapper repping that Red & Blue w/the island in the middle doing it like this. Hell too bad there isn’t one getting Joell’s publicity. (Clef and Yayo don’t count).
