The movie “Book of Eli”, about the “Book of Eli” that has some prophetic bs in it. People thinking the only Eli is Eli Manning, saying Tom Coughlin HC of NYG’s wrote Eli Manning’s career, which is already shambles since they won the super bowl.

January 21st, 2010 at 8:03 pm
the book of eli line is weak. If Eli and the giants played decent this year then It might have been aight, but Eli is not really even a top 10 quarterback, so the line really doesn’t connect. Plus Tom Coughlin is not a likeable coach nor a popular one. And the Giants suck; at least in the second half.

It’s clever but extending the metaphor past the obvious probably isn’t what Royce (or Joe, I haven’t heard it yet) was going for.

Kilograms were the key to my success
I apologize being so discreet with my connects
Lamborghini’s were figments of my imagination
Who ever figured the figures this nigga would be making
Plenty cream, our women pose like figurines
Whips weaving through traffic, the triple black centipedes
Please let a nigga breathe
Dilated pupils are the seeds of a nigga’s greed
Wit twenty G’s in my denim jeans
If she fuckin’ then she lucky just to get some Chuck E. Cheese
I bust my nut & holla “Lucky Me”
It’s tatted in my vein, I remain sucka free
My vocal like an atom bomb in that Avalon
Black roses, foe’s singin’ the saddest song
Asalaam Alaikum the paper, Walikum Salam

Being gangsta’s a cold job

Always wanted a Rolls Royce wit no job
Then again, all I fear is a dope charge
All I fear is a dope charge
Tell me what’s the odds for appeals for a dope boy?
Who sheds tears for a dope boy?
For what happens to the kids of a dope boy
Orphans, fuckin’ orphans
Born defendants, a nigga never been on offense
Now it’s mo’ shrimp, nigga, order mo’ shrimp
My neighborhood a racket, time to practice my importance
You know we hustle to the key of life
Movin’ weed & white before we learned to read & write
So fuck a tutor, pay attention to my shooter
She fuckin’ me today but next week she’ll be fuckin Luda
We assholes with fast cars & cash flow
My last load was gift wrapped by Castro
I did it all but the blow was my specialty
Mental telepathy directly in my recipe
2 mil on the second home
Still steppin’ on a couple bricks of that Methadone
I gotta method for gettin’ money like RZA do
Resurrected Big Poppa in the physical
Reincarnated the realist, I’m gettin’ revenue
10 mil bond for my peers in the Federal
And that’s several for slingin’ in Atlanta
But the way they dressed, you never knew, thought they seen a better view
But the fed’s had a rat named Reginald
That put em’ on the pedestal, conviction was incredible
The moral of the story was
Ain’t no happy endings for a thug
I think of Tupac, I think of Biggie now
Look how they gettin’ down, I went and bought a 50 Cal.

Vado has the same overall feel that Bleek had when he first hit the mixtape circuit. if you’re one of those bums who is old enough to remember, then you know Bleek’s mic skill (or lack there of) had yet to be determined. he was just Jay’s young boy who screamed really loud about cocaine. really loud. and all of his mixtape beats were really loud and monotonous. loud. cocaine. mixtape. unproven. loud. cocaine. loud.

Vado is the 2010 Juelz.
Cam is grooming him, letting him share the stage and in turn, he feels like a star so he’s rising to the occasion.
Bleek was always a doja.
And again, Bleek wasn’t (and still isn’t) half the rapper Vado is.
The Dynasty album Bleek >>>everything else he’s ever produced.
If he would’ve had the proper support, as limited as he is, Bleek coulda done alot more. His albums were far from trash. He just always was overshadowed by a Jay-Z release and after The Understanding, his albums barely went more then 1 single deep.

Pap had more of a buzz than CH…he had songs on the radio with no record deal….maybe that was something contrived by the industry that he was about to be part of but CH signed to Interscope never had a song a the radio to my knowledge

Mos Def looks like the Black Rain Man in this pic with the short sleeve button up and tie combination. If he shaved the beard it would be perfect.

Probably nothing but I’m sure he’ll feel neglected for some time.

People have whooped Shawn’s ass on the same record:
Biggie.
Eminem.
Mos Def.
Nas.
Saigon.
J. Cole.
If this guy is supposed to be the GOAT then that list is too long.

The list of him doing it to other rappers is longer.
Which song did BIG “whoop” Jay on?? I don’t remember hearing that one.

Nas, Saigon, Yeezy and J. Cole have all done in since he came back from fake retirement. The rest are in his ‘prime’.

Indeed. Has the Exhibit A remix with Mos been released, in a non-live format? I’ve only heard it watching clips of the Ecstatic tour on YouTube. I’ve heard an mp3 snippet of Mos rapping over a beat that sounds a lot like Exhibit C, but I think that’s different.
January 22nd, 2010 at 1:22 am
Nevermind, the clip I heard with Mos was half over a piano version of Exhibit A and then half over the normal beat. It’s from Shade 45. Has a CDQ version of the remix ever come out?

I disagree. On Black Republicans, yeah, but I liked Jay’s flow (n) on his verses more than Nas’, though he naturally came with the lyrical dopeness. Either way, that track is flames.
