Dan Black feat. Kid Cudi – Symphonies (Remix)
Kid Cudi has a verse at the beginning and one at the end. It seems to have the same drums as Rihanna’s “Umbrella.” Props to DatNewCudi

if i was to fuck around with production on a serious level, that of just blaze or someone, what editing programs would i be using?

I was never a santana fan because I thought dude was too arrogant for being a decent rapper. But I really feel bad for the guy now. Dude put all his energy into promoting that “I can’t feel my face album”. Cam stop fucking with him. That skull gang shit flopped hard and it seem like def jam has dude on the shelf, I’m sure if cam was still in control he would have got def jam to put out that album.

#Rick…Logic, Reason, Pro Tools, Cubase, Live, Digital Performer, Cakewalk, Fruity Loops…Just as long as you know how to use your tools you can get it done with anything. 9th Wonder used Fruity for the longest time…he only recently switched to Pro Tools. Just Blaze actually does most of his production on a MPC.

#Rick…There’s a lot of programs out there these days. Reason, Logic, Digital Performer, Pro Tools, Cakewalk, Live, Fruity Loops, Cubase, etc. You can get it done on anything just as long as you know how to use your tools. 9th Wonder used Fruity Loops for the longest time, just recently switching to Pro Tools. Just Blaze does the majority of his creation on the MPC.

Well, they still couldn’t escape blatant sampling.
Yall can go on and on about where the drum came from, but I know exactly where he ripped the chorus tune. It’s from the ending scene in the 1984 movie “Starman”.
You can youtube it from the soundtrack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buHd38K_LjM
I might be the first one to point this out, whatever – fuck it, I’ll have to do my own mashes and mixes anyways so I might as well call the shit as I see it.
