Commonwealth x The Clipse Til The Casket Drops T-Shirts
Virginia’s Commonwealth teams up with the Clipse for these Til The Casket Drops collaboration tees. One of them paying homage to the album title, and the other one spells out Popular Demand in the same font as the Popeyes logo, via CtotheJL.
I somehow got my hands on the last collabo tee they did for Hell Hath No Fury but I gave that away. I need to get this one though.
Available at Commonwealth VA, Commonwealth NC & the online store.

Its so easy to tell the people screaming about JayE > JCole havent ever even listen to Cole or given the Warm Up the attention it deserves.
If you truly believe JayE > JCole… you could make a case.
But if you havent spun the warm up and really check out the way Cole rhymes and can put songs together into a single body of work, you just dont really know what your comparing straight up

For the record: I recorded my exhibit C already. And I sped up the beat just a bit.
For some reason its sounding kinda slow, anybody agree?
Fun fact: I copped the instrumental the first day it came out

I never said he has to blow but obviously dudes are talking about electronica like he’s the nicest out.. saying he’s better than j. cole when thats hardly the truth, and his catalogue is low.
^
And many do think he’s is the nicest out and have the right to say so. Whether of not someone is prolific, has no bearing on their talent. With that said it doesn’t matter if J.Cole’ catalogue is deeper, when it comes to actual skill etc, Elec is nicer. One really has nothing to do with the other in this case.

^Nah he’s not hated, but niggas went in on him like a stepchild when he was the first to rap over Jay E’s beat.
December 21st, 2009 at 3:37 pm
To say one rapper is nicer than the other because he has more songs under his belt (which i actually don’t even think Cole does), is just foolish. How could you use that as the barometer? The beat and the beat alone should be the barometer, not how much work an artist has done.

@Digi
the actual song does seem a bit slower than when the rip first appeared online. I think 2 BPM’s faster, a louder/snappier spare and the beat would be perfect.
so far we got Ease and Digi on Exhibit Nah, two dope emcees.

J.cole’s catologue of very good songs is better than Jay electronica’s catalogue of 3 or 4 average songs…
I never used the more songs the better argument…that’s your own interpretation…I said that J.cole’s warm up was one of the best mixtapes in years which can’t be said for Jay electronica’s 3 average songs…
its not about songs its about how many good songs one has made and the warm-up has no skippers at all…electronica on exhibit a has a monotonous flow but its okay…bottom line is dude is nothing special
December 21st, 2009 at 3:44 pm
I decided not to cop the space jams. I already know how they’re gonna look in 5 years even if you don’t rock em that much. I’m coppin the all black 1/2 Cents and callin it christmas.
December 21st, 2009 at 3:45 pm
D-block,
I mean you think slaughterhouse is tight…plus you’re biased when it comes to jay electronica…
I never really cared for electronica or cole to be honest, but J.cole is much more impressive to me from the stuff that I heard…You keep saying spouting that “to each his own” steez but keep trying to fit in that electronica is nicer…
If you feel electronica is nicer, then cool.
