I honestly think dude couldve done between 160-180K, maybe even 200, if he had dropped back in August, or maybe even September. But the delay between the LP release and Wasted, not to mention “Spotlight” being a horrible song, fucked his set up all up.

Naw, the album’ll be dead in the water by that time. For his sake, I hope he has another Wasted in the stash, or its going to be an uphill battle. That’s not even taking his management into account. Which is going to cause a shitload of problems for his show money.

There’s no way I’m copping Exhibit C on iTunes. Nah had it on ushershare last night and I downloaded it, like I’ve done thousands of other songs. But because Just Blaze said we should cop, I should too? FOH!

gucci did not flop at all 90,000 first week for gucci is great he had no (promo tour, no public appearence, he didnt go on no tv shows) hes in jail , 50 cent , rihanna, chris brown, mariah carey, snoop dogg are all super stars and none of them did over 170k in the first week , so i knew gucci wasnt gone do it , not to mention if you think gucci flopped then that means HIP HOP has flopped as a WHOLE because dude got the #1 rap album in the country. he out sold snoop dogg who has been on every show pormoting his album and clispe, timberland and BG , gucci had decent sales he did not flop but the others did.
December 17th, 2009 at 11:59 am
Gucci mane did not flop (he had no promo tour, no public appearences, no public interviews) this man did 90,000 from a danm jail cell .. only thing holding him is his two singles which is “spotlight” and #1hit “wasted”,
50 cent, rihanna, chris brown, maiah carey, snoop dogg, timberland, clispe all had tour promo and none of them still didnt do over 180k in the first week, so what makes you think gucci could do it? i was on twitter and his record label is very happy with his first week sales he out sold every rap artist that came out that week ( snoop dogg, timberland, the clispe, BG) and all them have more star power than him , if you think gucci flopped then that means hip hop has flopped as a whole cause dude got the #1 abum in the country, and when your album is the #1 rap album and the top 10 album on billboard top 200 thats no flop at all .. all the others rappers that came out on the 8th flopped though . the clispe surpose to be hip hop but yet they only did 29k im the first week LOL
