Video: Talib Kweli Interview w/ splash! Mag
Talib Kweli stepped in last-minute for Mos Def, who suddenly had to cancel his show at splash! this summer. We caught Mr. Greene briefly backstage and talked with him about the future of New York, permanent questions regarding Black Star and HipHop activists in his family.
Also, check out a bonus interview with Zion I after the cut.
We spoke to Amp Live and Zumbi, collectively known as Zion I, a few moments before their stage time. The duo out of Oakland reported about police brutality in their hometown, the vision of their early work and mistaken identity.

Is it me or has Talib’s cocaine abuse finally caught up to him? He’s looking very crackish in this interview.
