Eminem on drugs > Sober Marshall Mathers
Seems like most of the time the more creative side of people comes out when they are on drugs. Having a rap song with the name of a fictional kidnapper/killer from from Silence of the Lambs doesn’t help bring back old Eminem. Good for him that he got sober but yeah I just see my interest in this guy’s music decreasing. It just isn’t the same as before and the accent doesn’t help.

Yea I’ve been thinking that but didn’t wanna say outloud. But I think the problem is that he’s been trying to rap about what he raps about on drugs without being on them. He says he was still getting the drugs outta his system on Relapse and was still doing all the funny shit, he promises that Relapse 2 is all serious spitting but we shall see.

I never said that I felt bad for Curt, but as a fan of hip hop, I can’t deny that his album is knockin’. Yeah, he was the mastermind behind that “first week defines an artist” shit, but everyone here knows that album sales don’t define a rapper.
