i was in denial when i heard Crime Pays … now i know there’s a problem …
still … Camron from 2000 – 2005/2006, was the greatest MC to ever do it …

As was i. All Killa really needs is some quality production, which in turn can also serve as inspiration. No more buying 200 beats for 5K and thinking you came off and “hustled” (word to Writers Block 2 & 3, Dips third LP, Hell Rells first mixtape and Hell Rells first LP). That shit worked for a little while but know they/he have exhausted that.
November 30th, 2009 at 12:42 pm
i always though cam sounded like he was nodding on heroin when he rapped post-SDE
i hear the mutlis. i just never understood why anyone found him compelling to listen to. him and mf doom should make an album together. call it ‘sleepily delivered multis’

OK… maybe not technically the greatest…
but there is no question that Cam’ron is easily my favorite MC of all time, based on his work (and Diplomats) during those years …
and i cant even think of who my second favorite MC would be …

Along with Em (which I hate to admit), Cam is the illest rapper to debut (with a solo LP) since 1998.
November 30th, 2009 at 12:45 pm
i hope some good music comes out of dd172. reports are mixed on that blakroc
mos + jay elec has got to lead to fire, though

He reached an ill middle ground of spitting incredible bars while sounding like he didnt give a fuck on Dip Immunity 1. But by Dip 2, it started coming off as laziness. I’m not a big fan of Killah Season, despite popular Nah opinion. Wasnt a weed plate tho.

I hope that IF Jay and Nas make a remix to Empire State of Mind that they are able to have more people dislike 50. I’m in Cali and even I know after 50 New York started to fall off.
To this day I still believe Jay came out of retirement because he didn’t like what most rappers (esp. from NY) were releasing mainly after 2003.

Word. They have this new vid that’s been getting mad spins on MTV Jams. Beat is insane.
Unfortunately, they rap on it.

One of his biggest mistakes? “We really should have done some Rihanna Rocawear umbrellas when that song became a hit. We could have made a load of money on those. I’m still kicking myself.” – CamelGoat

That’s sounds like a horrible idea to me. Maybe that’s why I’m not a multi-millionaire tho.

she’s like a friend 2 me, u like the enemy
or maybe she’s there jus 2 cover that resentment B
or maybe she aint as fake as u & won’t take me thru

maybe it’s simple she seen all that pain i was in

a Cam album produced by Just Blaze / Kanye during 2000-2002 would have been immaculate …why cant rappers see an opportunity to deliver something Epic …they always wait 9-10 years when such producer and/or the rapper himself falls off
