^Fab has better metaphors, but imo, young chris makes better songs and has better mic presents. Every song you hear fab on, he’s rapping with the same tone, you hear no pain or emotion in his voice, while when chris is talking about deep subjects in his bars, you can hear the emotion, how his voice pitch rises, belive it or not, how you say things while rapping can make a good song great.

2pac for example, when you rap his lyrics with him, you don’t rap along with a regular voice, your bringing your tone up with his to match his emotions, I couldn’t imagine listening to a pac song if he was rapping with a lazy flow like fabolous.

So yeah, I do think Chris is better rapper, fab has dope lines and bars, but his song topics are based around the same things, and he has no emotion when he raps.

But I think the old school gangster rap is well built in theory.

1. Poor gangster in the streets starts to rap and gets big [n]
2. Gets rich enough to no longer have to be in streets
3. Now rich, looses credibility as gangster rapper
4. Allows poor rapper in streets with credibility to start at stage 1

It’s a continuous cycle that will elevate the few from the streets. Plus, the beauty of the system is that those with an actual gift will remain once rich [Nas], evolve [Jay] or face extinction [50?, snoop]

The only problem comes in with alternative non-gangster rap [drake, cudi etc]. How will they ever loose credibility? I suppose they could loose “fads” unless they too have a gift and will stay around relevent [kanye]

I’m against the death penalty, not so much for moral reasons (though that does play a part), but more because of the clear inequity with which its distributed.
