I’m an Obie Trice fan, but this tune he chose is too busy. Hate busy loops, not enough space for the lyrics to breathe. Doesnt matter so much if your Lil Wayne, but quality lyricists need room so you can hear the lyrics

It makes it even worse that Favre hasn’t fallen apart yet and put the gunsligning to the side for now, that was a cheap shot….. “the Sanchize” is beyond terrible right now, shits disgusting if they had a half way decent QB they could be in the playoff picture, but no we got “the Sanchize” I still think he has potential to be good eventually but he is a good year and a half to two years away at least, lets see if he can last that long in NY without giving in ….

I enjoyed some of the other tapes, but this one always stood out to me. As dope as the others were, this and It’s Charles Hamilton (along with select tracks from Intervention and Pink Lava Lamp) proved that unlike a lot of “net-famous” emcees, this could actually had the ability to make music that would appeal to the masses.

fuck MoSS..both leaks off this album have been downright turrible. obie needs some beats like his first two albums. then he’ll really rip.
what really sucks is: he’ll release this, it’ll flop hard, and then he’ll prolly say fuck it and retire. i mean, he’s not even signed. this is his own money he’s investing. tragic end to a career.
