Video: 8 Billion Lives w/ Young Chris
Here’s a short film on Young Chris that was created for the 8 Billion Lives project. Devin Chanda, who puts it down over at TSS, Sam Heesen, and Bayan Mogharabi worked on this along with filmmaker Eric Swiecinski this past summer in Philly.

Its just that ni99as wanna see JayZ’s downfall b’cos to us, he shouldn’t have been able to achieve this much. So now its illuminati, selling his soul, snaking his friends, this that and the third.
Just say, its human to err and no1 is blemishless but only the strong survive.
Your own blood gets scared when you seem unstoppable. Success is something that is not easy to attain but when you do, all those that don’t, try to find a reason other than hardwork to discredit it.

I support Philly artist who are willing to step outside the box and find their own lane in the market…For Young Chris I think he’ll need more than the usual approach in terms of flow and delivery. Not saying that he isn’t nice, it’s that he came in the game so young that he barely had a chance to grow into a great artist. People only remember the last time and once chaos ensues it damages any hope to pick back up. It’ll be difficukt but he can do it…just find a different formula that will make the people notice and embrace (sales).

Ehhhhh he’s taking it better than Beans.
But this dude isn’t relevant anymore, he just seems out of touch in general.
November 22nd, 2009 at 11:17 pm
WHY DO U SAY HE’S NOT RELEVANT??? LOOK AT ALL DA RAPPERS FROM PHILLY, YOUNG CHRIS SOUNDS LIKE NONE OF THEM.

The game doesn’t want him anymore, he’s kinda like Papoose or somebody along those lines. He filled the void before, but his style in general is just not current. That’s not to say he can’t make good music. He’s just stale to me right now.

I CAN DIG WHAT U SAYIN ALEX. MAYBE THATS WHY I LIKE HIM SO MUCH. HE’S GOIN AGAINST THE GRAIN, HE’S NOT CONFORMING TO WHAT THE MAINSTREAM WANTS TO HEAR. BUT I DEFINITELY UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU’RE COMING FROM.
