This video is playing kinda choppy at the moment for me, so maybe it’s just the editing, but are they really only listening to a few seconds of each beat? There is really no way to tell if a beat is good or not from only judging that small sample of it. You don’t even know which way they were going with the beat, it might change up 30 seconds in. They probably got sent plenty of wack beats, but I’m sure they’re missing out on some heat by judging them by only what they hear at the very beginning.
