Lil Wayne leaks 3 weeks early
^No it didn’t, stop lying B. (aint that what they say in new york, B?)
November 20th, 2009 at 1:11 pm
50 cent is so cool..nigga does things..like make videos and entertain us,
^^
lol
=========
this music suffers when everyone is at peace..thats what RNB is for. hip hop was created for niggas to battle other niggas..i dont like these new rules that these soft niggas be following.
^^
i agree with this but then i think about the type of collabs that have the opportunity of happening when ninjas aren’t waiting with their darts out to beef.
like the Center Edge Territory shit, and everything that’s going on at Dame’s “DD172″… having different artists cross each other paths and just come together to make some songs. that type of stuff is dope to me.
November 20th, 2009 at 1:11 pm
Curtis is a divisive character and i think deep down, people don’t really buy him as a respectable music artist anymore.
he’s too pragmatic and talks too much business. too much extracurriculars within the rap game that dont involve music.
Jay sees the music as a business too, but the side shit he does has nothin to do with hip hop culture or the community really, so when he drops albums it still has the look of someone who took time and care to make an album.
November 20th, 2009 at 1:12 pm
Actually, 50 album got leaked 2 months early, it was suppose to drop in december.
November 20th, 2009 at 1:14 pm
I’d rather hear shit talking from a multi millionaire than a shit talking blogger.
Looking like a broke Sir Mix a Lot

So basically 50’s overall response to his music means the end of an era? Damn, it would’ve been good to see Ye and G.O.O.D Music being that next group to be followed kind of like people followed G-Unit but seems like people expecting Young Money to be that group.
November 20th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Graduation actually pushed boundaries other albums didnt at that time. Look how many Kanye mini-me’s run around the streets nowadays. just go to herfection to get an idea (lol).
50 aint changing the game with BISD. War Angel was just as good as this. we already heard this with GRODT. its just repetitive.
November 20th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Curt’s album leak a month & some change (no pun) had a weak single in Baby By Me ….as far as I Get Money,In Da Club,Candy Shop which were Top 10 singles and its going to do 200k retail + Itunes …is that really a flop …#just-asking
November 20th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
>but its obvious he is on the downward turn, look at his clothing line that folded
^Actually ECKO folded all together, not the clothing line
November 20th, 2009 at 1:18 pm
jk Heather.
but at the end of the day (c) Chris Brown i still play BISD every once in a while. its better than this skinny jean emo rap kids be listening to nowadays

^^^^^^^
word…its said that he hasnt realized how repetitive his music is its like the same damn movie with the same damn actors being sold every 2 years

that whole paradigm of hip hop families is dead. too many lanes now. Ye got a strong roster but he gives them a lotta rope to do they own thing.
Wayne got Drake, NIkki Minaj, his bodyguad MacMaine and a bunch of group home kids for no reason.
November 20th, 2009 at 1:18 pm
In all honesty 50 put out a decent album but it was never going to sale, he has no steam, i mean he put out 4 singles for this product and his current single is 29 on the charts and thats with major push from the label and also he has no other singles on this album, i understand some of u enjoy 50, but its obvious he is on the downward turn, look at his clothing line that folded, look at no artist coming out on his label in over 2 years, look at the last g unit product…its just time fro him to regroup….
November 20th, 2009 at 1:19 pm
Why would a label “majorly push” a project that’s been leaked 2 months before its time? I bet Jimmy pulled the plug on that projects funding 2 minutes after it leaked.
SMH @ expecting the label to spend money on some free shit..pwahahahahahahahahahahaha..yall niggas kill me.

SMH niggas saying “he has no general public interest” but they been talking about him and his album for the last 2 days..so what is you a private interest nigga?
*Ignores Ice and his irrationalism for the rest of the day*
No public interest gets your leaked album downloaded over 2 million times..ok.
^^^^
the numbers say it all, 50 dropped his album last week, 10 days b4 that it leaked, lil wayne carter 3 leaked in the same time and did 1 mil, jay leaked 10 days and went gold in 1st week, look at the numbers for his singles and his actual music, its right there but u want to battle me, but im just presenting the numbers, thats all my dude
November 20th, 2009 at 1:20 pm

I want to see what YMCM is gonna do different. They got drake for the closet homos and degrassi crowd. Wayne for the play-do thugs. Millz and Mac Maine for the “niggas on the grind” Nicki for the hood chicks then Lil Chucki for the lil niggas trying to rap too. Then wayne’s gonna unleash his daughters group to get at the lil hood chikadees
November 20th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
I was gonna kill a couple rappers but they did it to themselves
I was gonna do it with the flow but they did it with their sales,
I was gonna 9/11 them but they didn’t need the help
and they did a good job, them boys is talented as hell,
so not only did they brick but they put a building up as well
then ran a plane into that building and when that building fell

People don’t buy 50 music to get back at fifty for his shit talking and killing there favorite rappers career over the years. He said it himself, when him and kanye was beefing it was ye fans that brought 7 copies of graduation just so Ye can win.
That’s the only way the fans can get back at the bad guy. But he’s already rich, i’d hate to see the day 50 ever file for backruptcy, the haters would prolly throw a pajama party in the streets
November 20th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
The Masscre could have been a decent album if he didnt sign Olivia he actually tried to be creative with “God Gave Me Style” … “Baltimore Love Thing” just didnt work
November 20th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
yo kids nowadays are too emo to like aggressive content. word to M.O.P’s current sales
November 20th, 2009 at 1:22 pm
the charts and thats with major push from the label and also he has no other singles on this album
^
50 aint had major push in years, let’s be honest (n)

Once again
Gudda Gudda > The rest of Young Money (including Wayne & Drake)
November 20th, 2009 at 1:23 pm
yea yea yea yea..I waive the heat to eat..waive my right to speak..yea yea yea
November 20th, 2009 at 1:23 pm
50 always drops with a hot single. ALWAYS!!
Even on GRODT. That album had 4-5 hot singles or single worthy tracks.
This time around he had nothing. Hence the Floppation.
November 20th, 2009 at 1:23 pm
50 has been making the same album since 2003. he’s had a few mixtape highlights, but the actual aggressive content is stale. he ridicules other artists for evolving because he can’t. he’s stuck in the same actual space for each project. he talks about numbers and now he can’t live up to it. 50 is entertaining, but i just don’t enjoy GRODT light, lighter, O’Douls…

way to jack Drake’s Les-be honest (lesbian) line…

Not as relevent and fresh as he used to be.
