I would venture to say that 50 cent lost less sales from his leak than someone like Jay-Z. I was actually planning to purchase BP3 until it leaked early. Besides, 50′s stanley’s were going to purchase BISD no matter what. Jay had the songs on the radio to push his album to the sales it has accumulated. 50 cent made a strong album, but not one that appealed to the demographic that purchases album…its simple really.

@Charles, agree…i seriously doubt 50 lost that many sales due to the leak…every artists album leaks now, it’s like argueing Lil Wayne didn’t go double platinium first week because his fans are used to downloading his mixtapes online and therefore would they’d just download it. If your album is solid and popular it’s going to sell.
