^shit was too funny, J Hood and his boys was in apple bee’s recording some footage for whatever the fuck there doing, and out of no where, someone played a lox song, what made it super ether was they played “go head” J Hood was heated, nigga walking around apple bee’s asking “who turned that shit on?” nigga walked in the back and everything, shit was classic

I mean, she never really fell off and flopped. Fuck happened?

    ^^
Dr. Dre bailed on that last project for whatever reason, and even after Tambourine became a minor hit (I think she peformed it on Good Morning America), she couldnt get a release date on that album. Unless it actually did come out, which in that case, would mean she did indeed flop.

  3. &What?! Says:

50 Cent is trash. He got lucky with his first CD and that set him up for selling future CDs.

  4. b-ease Says:

Yo, I gotta find that JHood/Applebees footage. And LMAO at someone in the restaurant actually recognizing him, and in turn, playing that song.

    50 Cent is trash.

    ^^
Naw. He lost some creativity and hunger when he got filthy rich as most do, but he still knows how to put together an acutal “song” better than most. And The Massacre was bloated cut 5 or 6 tracks, and throw in the joints he gave Game and you got another classic. Also,

Power of the Dollar and Guess Who’s Back >>>>>>

Not to mention those incredible GUnit mixtapes.

    ^
they only shipped 30,000 records.. wale said they’re aiming at building a fanbase traditionally and from the ground up, not through first week #s

from what i hear however the album is dope

  12. Joe 88 Says:

    >You are small minded sometime you really think a song named big pimpin was going to be number 1 across the board in america>???

^Nigga a song called “it’s hard out here for a pimp” won a fucking grammy, anythings possible dawg

    >In utah, alabama, mississippi or any of the homeland america, get a grip…to produce that many number one albums with out a number one single, proves you are not a fad and you produce quality music…do me this favor, name nas number one hit or his last top ten hit in ten years

^I’ll name one when you name one from Jay-Z

  13. yaboy Says:

    was gonna cop an INVICTA

    ^
i wouldn’t. they’re rolex imitations IMO. go w a swiss brand, you can’t go wrong.. tissot etc etc

  14. b-ease Says:

they only shipped 30,000 records.. wale said they’re aiming at building a fanbase traditionally and from the ground up, not through first week #s

    ^^
Yea, I read the “undershipped” story as well. But if that’s the case, there was either no demand from retailers or his label fucked him. The whole “building a fanbase traditionally” is bullshit, because labels simply dont work records like that any more. Wale is a tax write off. He needs to get off Interscope ASAP, which honestly shouldnt be a problem.

    ^
SMMFH. nas isnt going for top 10 pop hits when he creates albums like ‘N*igger’

this isn’t completely obvious to you?

  16. Joe 88 Says:

If i’m not mistaken, didn’t 50 Cent’s single “P.I.M.P” hit #1 on the billboard charts?

That could be lies about only shipping 30, 000 to make his failure seem not so bad. Your telling me theres only 2, 000 cds left in stores? I don’t believe that shit for a second. The album isn’t even that dope, worth a download as I did but it’s nothing special.

  18. b-ease Says:

Just to let you know his last album didnt sell more than kingdome come, my man

    ^^
But it sold more than American Gangster. Stop cherry picking facts Ice.

  19. LondonBloke: Internahtional Man of Mystery Says:

    Triple C’s album was “undershipped”

  20. Mr. Damn, He Ain't Coppin' That, Is He? Says:

@ yaboy, invictas are swiss made bromie. but yeah a few of them are imitation rolie divers. sorry but my seiko has my heart. it’s my down bitch that been with me since day 1 (c) t-pain. when i hit 10 million inshallah i might fuck around and cop a tourbillion with mad complications – just to showboat (c) yachts.

i’ll say this about Invicta watches. If you got a little bread but not a lot Invicta is the way to go. They got some dope lookin watches if you only lookin to drop between 3-6 bills. Shop MSNBC got em for the l.o.

    ^
in all honesty though.. he didn’t say it was ‘undershipped.’ he told it as if it was a plan. i mean based on how he’s being pushed its not completely unbelievable… mtv awards band, bet cypher.. i feel like they’re giving him some good exposure and forcing his music in front of people.. i think they have some belief in the kid.. they know his lack of gun-toting content is a plus and could be where the game is headed…

  23. b-ease Says:

Your telling me theres only 2, 000 cds left in stores? I don’t believe that shit for a second.

    ^^
I believe it. I don’t doubt that there was only 30,000 shipped (there was only one in a Best Buy location in dtown Baltimore, and Collin said there were none in a couple of Best Buys he checked in SoCal). What I’m calling bullshit on is the reasoning behind said undershipment.

    No it didn’t.
