In August, the Beastie Boys put out a remastered version of their classic Ill Communication album, and now they re-released Hello Nasty.
The last installment of this year’s deluxe, remastered, expanded and altogether awesome Beastie Boys catalogue reissues has been confirmed: The multi-platinum 1998 opus Hello Nasty will be given the 2-CD/vinyl box set/multi-format treatment featuring 21 bonus tracks and rarities, including 10 never before released items (tracks/skits).

“Still Tippin” is still one of my favorite summer songs ever, my homeboy was a huge down south rap fan, and he had that shit like a year and a half before it caught on, we use to ride in his caddy listening to that shit and everyone would be like “wtf is this shit?” we’d just laugh (n) and continue listening to the song.
Back then there was no faces to the song, and for the longest I thought paul wall was black, dead serious, when he told me dude was white I thought he was lying.

Dr. Dre bailed on that last project for whatever reason, and even after Tambourine became a minor hit (I think she peformed it on Good Morning America), she couldnt get a release date on that album. Unless it actually did come out, which in that case, would mean she did indeed flop.
