The punchlines that stand out on this joint will be dated in a matter of weeks, but like Games name dropping, it can’t be looked at as lyrical deficiency at this point, but his style, you gotta take it or leave it. This song is dope tho, he switches the flow up some, and it relies more on introspection than punches.

Mediocre rappers whos penis you should try to keep out of your mouths: Raekwon, anyone wu related, jayz(although hes actually very dope at times), drake, jay electronica (though he has his moments), Rakim, etc.
This freestyle is ridiculously ill. Some people on this site are like the pro-black movement meets the neo nazis the way you saddle up on certain peoples penises without relenting. You have the worst taste in music and only listen to wack or half-assed lyricists and constantly overrate washed up people you listened to while in high school. Meanwhile your knocking down 30s door, wearing skin tight pants like a homo trying to fit in.
People aren’t going to stop feeling Joey or buying his albums because you stanleys go off on idiotic rants. Your favorite rappers suck. That is why they go under the radar – not because of foul play.

i miss the old days when niggas whole albums were produced by just one producer which gave a cohesive feel and all the tracks gelled together nicely eg resurrection and illmatic…ready to die and all them joints.
Not sayin that illmatic was done by one producer but it had all the same similar samples that meshed well. I need to check for j-cole i only heard the verse on BP3..wasnt impressed that much

J Cole is dope. He has a good flow, good rhythm, some promising lyricism, makes some substantial tracks, and has shown artistic integrity early on. I like J Cole.
Mos Def is one of my favorite rappers ever (Black On Both Sides is my favorite album of all time, though I’m not black but latino) but I wasn’t big on The Ecstatic.

Everyone hate on Joey for how he act but at least he a real nigg, he dont hide any of his mistakes or fuck ups and lives his life for people to see he just a regular man. You rap fans now-a-days be idolizing niggas that are living fake in front of the camera to try and impress less intelligent minded people. If you really listen to rap metaphors/cadence/word-selection you cannot deny joes talent. What other rapper you kno shares his life with his fans? What other rappers you kno make mistakes and admit to it?? And the only way another “rapper” can beat him is physically but im listnenin to music not who can beat who up. i met Mike Jordan and he is an asshole, does that take away from him being the greatest bball player ever, no.
