Trackstar The DJ & TSS Present Best Rapper Alive?
The Lil Wayne vs. Royce da 5’9″ edition. DJ Trackstar found 12 beats that both Lil Wayne & Royce spit on and put them head to head.
Since Jay-Z stopped worrying about being the best and declared himself the greatest, many people have claimed the title of Best Rapper Alive, but few as often as Lil Wayne and Royce Da 5′9″. While Wayne is a global superstar and Royce owns the underground, they seem to share similar taste in beats — “D.O.A.,” “I’m Me” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” as notable examples. I went ahead and put together twelve rounds of Nickel and Weezy facing off over the same beat, threw in a boxing motif, and now I’ll let the people decide.
Disclaimer: I don’t think Lil Wayne nor Royce da 5’9″ is the best rapper rapper alive. They’re very good at what they do though.

Royce and Wayne are both nice but the Best Rapper Alive is white and resides in Detroit…he has the highest selling album of the year so far…according to MTV though he’s only the 11th hottest rapper in the game

This shit is all relative…Royce has mastered his craft more than Wayne and that is evident…the question of the best rapper alive is pointless, used as a marketing ploy most of the time, so stop perpetuating it…Having said that, Royce > Wayne

Considering most of those tracks were Wayne originals Royce shat on him. Lets see Wayne try and flow over Premo, Streetrunner, and Mr.Porter beats…He can’t he needs those over-produced club bangers to do anything nowadays…so much potential gone to waste! ROYCE!
