I could careless about this album because of the state of mind Rakim is in. Instead of being this ambassador of hiphop (who should be taking beats from the best producers because he is one of the goats), hes turning down beats from Preemo and featuring only NYC artists like maino on his shit.

Rakim will always have a place in history. Him being or not being in the top 5 or 10 doesn’t really take away from his input to the game. The nigga modernized rap to what it is today, no list can justify that.
Kinda like Run DMC, might not be looked at as the G.O.A.T group, but it doesn’t really matter, there spot in history is sealed
