That Forever joint is getting a lot of play on the radio and MTV and shit…and the more I hear it the more out of place the hook sounds…and Drake’s vocals sounds maaaad homogonized.

I know this isn’t some new development…but goddamn radio is almost officially dead. At least here in San Diego. Like, radioplay isn’t even an option for a hip-hop artist in this town anymore.
We used to have two “urban” radio stations, and they were both bullshit anyways, but in the last month one of them bit the dust. And now, the remaining “urban” radio station has officially lost it. They might have 8 songs on their playlist, and one of them is the 7 year old white kid with the Usher co-sign, and the other track is that new Miley Cyrus shit. LMAO. I mean, radio’s been dead, but this shit is ridiculous.

Also, Charlemagne is arguably the lamest nigga ever. CamelGoat is gonna make sure him and that junkie Philly nigga never eat again.

Eskay on Respect Magazine – “This will be an instant collectors item. What a simple, and yet ingenious, concept for a magazine.”
^ Eh I agree to an extent, but is it really necessary for more magazines to come out especially in this day and age? I respect what the magazine is aiming at but why not just put it up online? Most of the major newspaper and magazines are switching from paper to digital media.
Any you wanna see some crazy shit then check this out. Makes you think about where the internet is going. I don’t cosign on everything but it makes you wonder. Oh and some of this is just a prediction -

[...] It’s no secret that a good deal of rappers go into freestyle sessions with pre-written rhymes. Still, that freestyle featuring his blackberry wasn’t exactly a shining moment for T Dot’s rising star. At least he admitted to being wildly unprepared as he looked flat out nervous in the original flick. Even in hindsight I assumed most rappers would have something memorized just in case they had to drop some bars on the radio: especially for Hot 97. At least it inspired Affion Crockett to clown him for our enjoyment. Hit the break for Drake’s Hot 97 freestyle and Affion’s spoof. Sources: MTV and Nahright [...]
