Guess so, its about time Dame really showed that he wasn’t all talk. His experience should help him get back to Cakeaholic status.. He deserves to make money off hiphop… just don’t be ignorant to spit some “I never re-use towels or socks” b.s…

lemme know when Wayne drops something as profound as Umi Says, or an album as ill as Black On Both Sides, b/c so far he hasn’t.

Empire State of Mind Part 2?

I know, right?
Not to take anything from the original, but a sequel seems so unnecessary.

Naw, as prolific as Wayne is, the vast majority of his material is cotton candy. Tastes good, but completely unfulling (ll), and sickening in large amounts. As much as he’s done the past few years, and considering the length of his career, I still couldnt take anyone serious if they mentioned him as a contender on the GOAT list.

You think? I mean, it always comes off as a little moronic to tell an artist to lower their creative horizons, but lets keep it real, the vast majority of that experimental shit Mos has been doing since his second album really does suck.

I agree with this, but like Eskay said, it’s kind of a weird comparison.

Empire State Of Mind is a great song IMO, does it need a sequel? Not. I really think its Hov’s way of paying for that A.Keys feature.. what do I know though.

*fucking dead* at 50 clearly not going to sign Beanie Sigel.

Combat is complaining about Mos singing
but what gets me is Mos has ALWAYS been singing. his shit has never been straight flow. Theres a shit load of singing on BOBS. Dude sings all over BlackStar
he makes some mistakes with the rock shit here and there but then we get completely unique gems like “The Rape Over,” a cut that defies genre (and gave us ‘T.I.’)
And The Ecstatic is rap heavy, just the beats is kinda out there….CJ just didnt articulate his point very well.

and had the nerve to throw out some wild headline like dude is wack, on some TMZ shit
it was just a sloppy post, dude can do better
