The entire Guess Who’s Back album is filled with stellar verses. So is Power of the Dollar for that matter. And while by GRODT, he was more focused on flow than lyricism, there are some really dope verses on that album as well.

The scenario was: MTV eventually respected the noise Hiphop was making and aired it. Acceptance is a handout(for lack of a better word), The lyrics on Empire State of Mind is hardly acceptable nor is his story but they respect JayZ as an artist hence he doesn’t have to dance to their tune… if this doesn’t make sense then IDK what does.

@ HarlemWorld … after just seeing/hearing that vid with $pitta a few posts back, I’m now confidant that he can hold his own with those 2 guys. But more so on a laid-back tip.

True Story: Back in ’03 I saw Jadakiss and Rakim at this spot called Sammy’s in the BX on Fordham. Them mofos was the same damn height.
