DJ Kay Slay feat. Busta Rhymes, Bun B, Sheek Louch, Uncle Murda, Papoose, Remy Ma & Jay Rock – Self Destruction ’09 [Radio Rip]
Kay Slay premiered it on Shade45 last night. He said he has to fix Remy’s verse before he’ll play it.

I think papoose, uncle murda and jay rock said the best things on this record. I thought jay rock was immortal technique for a second. Didn’t expect uncle murda to drop knowledge but he did which is a good thing. He be dropping too many bodies most the time in his lyrics.

Ugh, this is typical of Kay Slay to have these artists on the same song. Almost like all his mixtapes combined for one track. LOL great concept doe.

When is Busta retiring?????? He needs to speed up the process. His raps are seriously ‘puta nigga to sleep’ type shit. •Takes out last album (can’t remember it’s name) *yawns* and dispose of it quickly!!

Uncle Murda said some real shit, even though most of his songs he speaks about cooning and bullshit.
Busta Rhymes had the opportunity to say something deep but once again he proved to me that he’s a sell out, his verse was the worst. Why would Busta use the word nigger (which is a self demeaning word) in a song geared to teach our youth positivity, self worth & respect for themselves & community? Busta Rhymes use to be the most creative fun rapper out their which is what made him special, but after he cut his dreads off he’s been trying to be another millionaire fake gangster rapper. Busta Rhymes sucks.
At least all the rappers on here (except busta rhymes who happens to be the grandfather of the bunch, LOL) tried to preach positivity, but the original version of Self Destruction is the best and a HIP-HOP CLASSIC.

I agree the original was the best I was an infant at the time. I’m 19 born May 10,1990 but I know all about REAL hip hop. My peers look at me in shock when I know the words to an old Eazy E track or the OLD Common. I LOVE HIP HOP! Fuck a stanky leg!!!!!!!!!!!

*Hands Kay Slay a late pass*
Apparently he didn’t hear Self Construction. You know, the real Self Destruction 09. KRS-One isn’t even on this.
