Video: Jay-Z & Drake Live in Toronto
“This weekend is gonna be my first time back on stage. I’m performing with Jay-Z when he comes to Toronto. This will be my first time back out there. I’m kinda like nervous/excited.” -Rap-Up
Jay brought out Drizzy last night to perform “Successful,” with Hov playing hypeman.

Yeah it’s a great look for Drake but he’s not even on Roc Nation, he should be pushing J. Cole his own artist…
November 1st, 2009 at 12:50 pm
he can push both rappers if he wants to

I think its in Jay’s interest to push Drake in Toronto for “cool points”.
Here’s my review of Jay-Z’s Toronto show.

Caught Jay’s show not to long ago myself. And it was sick seeing the level to which hip hop has grown. The production value was nuts, the band was sick, the energy was crazy and the place was sold the fuck out. 20k + on they feet the whole time. The crowd ran the gamut young, old, blck, white, bitches (again BITCHES), niggas, thugs, hipsters, blue collar, white collar. WHO ELSE in hip hop can do this. AND the niggas catalog was super extensive WITHOUT doing one song from RD or AG.
Hate on, niggas this nigga ALREADY HOME. Catch you @ a 50 show coming to a club/ “intimate space” (I.E. I can’t sell out arenas any more) near you.

Both of these dudes are Corny as hell. Wow – My boys from BK who does production for Baby’s LiL Bro loves Drake but says he’s Corny as hell. We all know that the Camel is a Cornball. I would love to see him and Siegel battle on the MIC. This is Rap

^^^ he’s ON THE TOUR with him… he performs EVERY night with him and comes out during jay-z set to do “Star is Born” with him…
damn niggas is quick to hate and say some dumb shit these days… not to mention J.Cole has a verse on a platinum selling album already with no song on the radio…
SMH

Sad thing is, NC audience would probably go crazier for Aubrey than for Jermaine.
Ironic thing is, J. Cole is the Nas to Drake’s Jay-Z
(Wale is Ja, Corey is DMX… fuck hip hop)

i was at this show, it was fuckin INSANE. whole crowd lost their shit when drake came out. non-stop energy pretty much throughout the whole show, this and when he did a star is born were probably the slowest parts in the whole set, first Jay show but definitely not my last. N.E.R.D got the crowd hype as fuck, Pharrell brought mad girls on stage to dance n shit, Wale was wandering thru the crowd, just ridiculous. Cole did his thing right at the start too, wish more people heard his set even though it was short, anyway overall DOPE show!

CO-fuckin-Sign …I’m a big fan of both Drizzy n J.Cole, but they are definitely polar opposites like Jay and Nas. J.Cole has that lyrical content that Drake can never match, and Drake has that mainstream appeal that J.Cole will never achieve. I don’t mind though, Hip Hop needs both of these young dudes. Wale kinda annoys me though, shout out to Cudi, Still bumpin’ MOTM, Congratulationnnns
