    I wouldn’t say overrated…..dude deserves the credit….look at all the old shit he did….no one was making beats like Tim at one time…and almost every song on the radio was a timbo beat…..dude had his own style and everything….he started making beats with human sounds….how crazy is that Rey….timbo just lost it when he hired people to make beats….I can see why he’s using different sounds now and his beats aren’t as complete anymore….because there’s a million other timbos out there now

While i respect the vets here at nah, i dont understand what seems to be no acceptance of new people on the site… i mean is it yours? or is it a public forum through which you can express your thoughts and shit about hiphop sports etc etc… the same mentality that goes into hiphop lives on these commenting sections… dudes clown each other until someone feels like they have to respond and “ether” a dude.. through a keyboard, mouse and computer screen… shit is kind silly.. and its shouldnt be a surprise when it does… so i understand why its done.

    That’s why I said until he hired people to make beats is when he fell off which was like around 03 or before…I really don’t think he’s overrated…..a lot of producers are influenced by him….

    I don’t either. He took the sound Devante was trying to create and completely changed R&B. “Are You That Somebody” and “One and A Million” impacted R&B on nearly the same level that “My Girl” did. *straight face*
