No shots Ghost writer, but that nas verse is what i always say, nas be all over the place, he has a vivid imagination, sometimes i just want the mc to talk real and direct and straight 4wrd
So I keep it ghetto like sunflower seeds and quarter waters
You walk em through it, you know, talk em through it

Lil Wayne is the closest thing we have to Pac…I grew up on Pac…That’s my nigga for real…I had posters, cds, I even got my belly fat tatted because of Pac….I wore red bandanas across my fo’head cuz of Pac…this is real talk..
Pac was the most influential individual in hip hop/rap….until lil wayne came around…and he’s the most influential now..
Lil Wayne has the youngins, old people and white america in his grasp….Pac did it with the Thug imagery..
Wayne did it with the thug imagery too…tat’s, shirt off, sagging jeans, cursing in public, swearing in front of people..
only pac and wayne did that….wayne is pac in the flesh…

i’m still waiting for a rapper to come out [||] named “bin laden”
on some real shit, like “this is my name”
i mean that would be ignorant and it would cause a firestorm but the shit would be mad interesting to see how it played out. if he was nice as fuck on the mic he’d get some work, no doubt. rap fans love controversy and they tend to cheer for the villain anyway

From Chicago: Bin Laden Blowing Up. They’re at CMJ performing with lame ass Nigel Holt, Mic Terror and Mano and all them but they’re bubbling in the ‘Go. They were full page featured in the Reader a couple weeks ago.

Yo Jersey, is the crib a single or multi fam?
October 21st, 2009 at 3:49 pm
For example from the beginning to the end, he is talking about a real tru story, walking you thru it
I’ll probably end up back in the hood like f**k it then
rumblin’ over the oven, we was like brothers then
though u was nothin other than the son of my mothers friend
we had nothin then, who would have thought the love would end
I suppose that happens to all good things
never known it was the same song that all hoods sing
thought it was all wood grain, all good brain
we wouldn’t bicker like the other fools, talk good game
never imagine all the disaster that one good brang
could bring, should blame the game and I could
its kill or be killed, how could I refrain
jealousy evil and pride and this brings
its all to a head like a coin, cha-ching
the root of evil strikes again
this could sting, now the team got beef between the post and the point
this put the ring at jeopardy

No problem, i luv some of nas verses like the one im bout to post and than he just looses me
I’m standin’ on the roof of my building
I’m feelin’ – the whirlwind of beef, I inhale it
Just like an acrobat ready to hurl myself though the hoops of fire
Sippin’ 80 proof, bulletproof under my attire
^^^
thats good rhymin, but when u think of a dude just standing on the roof, arms open doing this, sounds kinda crazy

black repblicans.
I still say that song needed 2 more verses from each. They both were turning it up as the bars flowed. Could only imagine how a second verse from either would of went.

@ cOLD– Cosign. Either that, or they shoulda just rhymed they asses off (nh) and shat on the whole industry. I feel like both of them were trying to be too slick without really, really spitting. (dbl nh)

those lines Iceberg, are the equivalent to when Bruce Lee would taste his own blood, and go bat shit on a nigga.
October 21st, 2009 at 4:24 pm
I’m sorry, but that is just a terrible beat. I mean the sounds themselves sound soooooooo pedestrian, unpolished, and beneath Jeezy’s delivery. I can see why he primarily does Gucci’s stuff. It matches better.
“So Icy,” was a well constructed beat using pristine sounds. This ain’t it Zay.
